			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mobile computing devices like smartphones, netbooks, slates and tablets are playing an important role in high school learning and at universities. They serve different purposes for different education communities-students, faculty, staff, visiting researchers, etc. In spite of educating different communities on the appropriate and inappropriate use of these devices, educational institutions need to craft out an acceptable use of policy to prevent any unacceptable consequences. This requires IT administrators to implement different security profiles for different communities and manage a wide array of mobile devices.</p>
<p>Apart from university supplied slates and netbooks, student owned iPads, iPods and Androids are also prevalent around campuses. These smartphones and portable devices house sensitive and confidential information such as IDs, grades, health care information, scholarship details and loans. Thus, device encryption and prevention of data theft are necessities for the education sector.</p>
<p>In addition to device data security, another concern of IT administrators within the education field is the amount of IT resources being consumed for mobile device management (MDM). This article focuses on the key security policies that must be implemented for protecting the data on different type of devices and simultaneously lowering the burden of the IT department.</p>

Somehow it remained stable despite the tribulations in the economy, mainly due to the high demand that the aging population produced. As a result, the health professions are in high boom nowadays which includes the traveling speech therapist career track in the list.</p>
<p>Speech therapy is a highly specialized practice that assists clients who have difficulty in speech or in swallowing. Professionals belonging to this group undergo rigid training in accordance to the standards set by the regulatory bodies of the profession. Together with that, they also are required to take the examinations given by the Praxis Series of the Educational Testing Service.</p>
<p>Traveling speech therapists are required a Master&#8217;s Degree by most regulatory bodies to be able to practice the profession. Courses may be taken through the courses offered by accredited schools. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Enterprise Mobile Applications are drawing every one&#8217;s attention now with iPhone, iPad, Android and other devices getting in the hands of global consumers. General perception is this.. &#8220;It is hard to make money in mobile space. Even enterprises have not figured how to make revenue&#8221;. I hear this over and over again. It makes me to rewind my memory back and look at what happened. I hope we can recollect the same perception we had around the mid nineties about internet and e-commerce. It took several years for the industry to mature and enterprises to start making revenue and profit in that space. I believe that the same is true for mobile and it might not take several years for the industry to mature; My guess is less than 5 years. Also I strongly believe that enterprises know how to make revenue in mobile space. They are letting the industry to grow and stabilize while consumers adapt the devices.</p>
<p>Internet and e-Commerce from mid-nineties:</p>
<p>Wireless devices have been my interest since 1996. While working at Equinox Solutions, Bangalore (a Massachusetts based IT consulting company&#8217;s India development center), the company had a wireless computing division. Though I heard about WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) and selling advertisements through wireless phones, I couldn&#8217;t see how that will happen. But I had reasonable exposure to this emerging field before even I had seen a real wireless phone.</p>
<p>Acceptance of Mobile Phones:</p>
<p>During the year 2000, I bought my 1st Samsung mobile phone. I was so amazed with the capability of being able to talk to someone with a nationwide plan throughout United States even while I was in a remote area with cell phone coverage. Slowly cell phone became a commodity, plans were affordable. I could see how mobile phone based ads could take place.</p>
<p>WAP based applications and Workflow:</p>
<p>Around 2007, I had an opportunity to promote Mobile phone based workflow solution through my startup as part time job. Had opportunity to attend many conferences including Gartner&#8217;s BPM (Business Process Management) Summit in Florida. Again, I could see the opportunity but the suitable devices were not ready in consumer&#8217;s hands.</p>
<p>iPhone, iPad, Android and the revolution:</p>
<p>Since the middle of 2010, I have been participating in many Job fairs, meeting medium size to big size recruitment companies, talking to industrial experts in the IT industry and attending various business conferences. I see that the mobile platform has matured, mobile devices have the usability features to run applications with necessary internet bandwidth and affordable data plans. However, the common problem is, that the enterprise mobile application development space does not have enough number of Quality Engineers on Android, iPhone, iPad and related platforms.</p>
<p>All-in-one in Mobile device:</p>
<p>As the technology galloped many strides in the processors speed &#038; parallel processing and with the advancement in Memory&#8217;s size to capacity and speed, the Mobile devices are quickly replacing a lot of devices like the Laptops, Netbooks, Camera, GPS devices, Camcorders, MP3 players and more.</p>
<p>I see the power of mobile devices along with 4G wireless standards changing the way we do business and collaborate with each other in the near future.</p>
<p>Enterprise Mobile Apps and the Demand:</p>
<p>Many ideas are becoming realities both in the consumer and Enterprise level. But sadly, there is a big vacuum for the availability of qualified engineers. This is not only in the United States, but all over the world. There are plenty of Individual contributors in this space who have developed Mobile Apps across the globe. But these engineers will need education and coaching on understanding few important areas while developing Mobile applications for Enterprise.</p>
<p>Few companies have prophetically visualized the dimensions of this vacuum and have designed curriculum to train resources for Enterprise Mobile Space and enabling quality mobile Apps. The global demand will continue to put more demand on qualified Engineers to be trained all over the world.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have researched education in the Philippines, a nation where participation in all levels of education has been high for generations. Despite this high enrolment in education, the Philippines has been characterised by low economic development associated with low levels of social change, especially in the area of social mobility.</p>
<p>One aspect of my research was to identify whether there were aspects of the education system, itself, that led to these results. I focussed on the private nature of most Philippine education, an aspect which became more important during the last quarter of the twentieth century when, as a result of structural adjustment programmes, there was a shortage of public investment in education. In the Philippines, therefore, there is effectively a market in education.</p>
<p>What I concluded was that the Philippine elite competes from within its own ranks for access to the high value end of this market, thus excluding poorer Filipinos from participation in that part of the sector which appears to offer educational quality. The intra-elite competition has effectively become the education system&#8217;s function and focus, so access to quality education is denied to the vast majority of the population. My findings also suggested that the continued use of market forces in education accentuates and exacerbates this effect, thus further precluding social mobility.</p>
<p>The Philippines is thus a country where it matters where you were educated, where there is an identifiable queue of graduates of education, with the elite associated with particular institutions and geographical areas.</p>
<p>The British appear to be proud of the &#8220;high standards&#8221; set by the elite sector of their education system, hence we can still have a debate about the potential of grammar schools to promote social mobility, despite the fact that if implemented they would exclude three quarters of the population. In addition, it is clear that access to quality education at all levels in Britain is determined by a market in house prices, a market in which where the elite sector competes within its own ranks for access to quality, thus driving the market. It is not exactly the same as the privatised Philippine education system, but it would appear to work the same way. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The traditional Greek elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Essence have been used throughout history as metaphors of life&#8217;s many dimensions. If you list every aspect of dance, you will find they each fit into one of these five categories. Most people involved in the dance world take a one-dimensional approach. The choreographer who sees a dancer only as a physical body to be ordered around and shaped, does not recognize the value of the individual dancer&#8217;s heart, spirit, mind, or soul.</p>
<p>Dancer&#8217;s are a hardy stock and deal surprisingly well with insensitive choreographers and directors, but imagine how much richer an experience a choreographer would get from dancers if they were engaged mentally, emotionally, passionately, and spiritually, along with the single physical dimension. Now imagine how much richer a students experience would be if the teacher taught them not just steps but integrity, creativity, passion, and how to truly relate and connect with fellow dancers as well as audience members. The current states of dance education, choreography, performance, and administration suffer from one-dimensional approaches.</p>
<p>Mindful Dance Dimensions strives for balance of all dimensions. It does not dictate values for each category. Those will depend on the individual dancer or organization. An awareness of multiple dimensions gives a holistic view of any particular aspect of dance|</p>

<p>The place with more tourist appeal are Castro Marims Castle, Fort of S. Sebastiao, Small chapel of Santo Antonio, Reserves of Castro Marim and Vila Real de Santo Antonio, Church of Nossa Senhora dos Martires, Church of the Divine Espirito Santo, Church of Marias Immaculate Heart, besides the dams of Odeleite and of the Beliche and the Viewpoint of Rossio. Other points are the churches of Santo Antonio and of Sao Sebastiao.</p>
<p>The border with Spain is also one of the attractive of the council that has a historical past witch attracts many visitors who choose Algarve to know more on the beginning of the portuguese nation.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The exceptionally talented Pop artist Richard Shindell has released him CD entitled Vuelta. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Richard Shindell fans, and Pop fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Vuelta Richard Shindell&#8217;s artistic excellence is on full display as Shindell has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be him best work to date.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a rare day indeed that I get a CD from an artist that I can truthfully say does not have a bad track in the bunch. I&#8217;m more than happy to announce that&#8217;s exactly what I must say about this one. There simply is NOT a bad one in the bunch. No fillers here at all.</p>
<p>Pop music fans will recognize some of the well known contributors on the project including Lucy Kaplansky and Dennis McDermott plus a few other notables as well.</p>
<p>Overall Vuelta is an outstanding release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up and is most definitely a worthy addition to any Pop collection. Truly an outstanding Pop CD. One of those that is completely void of any wasted time, as each track is simply superb.</p>
<p>While this entire CD is outstanding some of my favorites are track 2 &#8211; Waist Deep In The Big Muddy, track 7 &#8211; There Goes Mavis, and track 9 &#8211; The Last Fare Of The Day</p>
<p>My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 4 &#8211; Hazel&#8217;s House. This is a great track!</p>
